Families across Aventura can trick-or-treat two days before Halloween at Aventura City of Excellence School's Trunk or Treat.

The event runs Thursday, Oct. 29, from 4 to 6 p.m. in the ACES parking lot at 3333 NE 188th St., according to the school's event posting. Oct. 29 is also an early release day at ACES.

Activities include trick-or-treating at decorated car trunks, arts and crafts, a Haunted Hallway and food trucks. The event is open to the public.

Wristbands cost $20 in advance or $25 at the gate. Advance sales run through My School Bucks and close Friday, Oct. 23. Only children ages 2 through 18 need a wristband, according to the school.

Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Masks, costumes with weapons and dogs are not permitted, the school's event posting states. Guests who are disruptive or damage property will be asked to leave, and no refunds will be granted.
