Aventura residents heading to Universal Orlando's Halloween Horror Nights on Saturday, Oct. 24, can skip the late-night drive home.
Brightline announced a one-night-only midnight train departing Orlando Station at 12:15 a.m. and heading south to West Palm Beach, Boca Raton, Fort Lauderdale, Aventura and Miami, according to the company's press room. The booking instructions in Brightline's press release list the departure under Oct. 25, though another section of the press release references Oct. 26. The Sun Sentinel also reported the train departs at 12:15 a.m. Oct. 25. The special train is presented in partnership with Orlando Health.
Brightline will provide a free one-way shuttle from Universal Orlando to Brightline Orlando Station for passengers on the late-night train. Shuttle service runs from the park to the station only.
Krystal Ritter, Director of Partnerships at Brightline, said the midnight departure, free shuttle and onboard perks are designed to let guests focus on the fun and leave the ride home to Brightline.
Passengers will receive a free snack and sleep mask, available to both SMART and PREMIUM ticket holders while supplies last. Discounted drink specials will also be offered onboard.
Groups of three or more can save up to 25% on SMART fares between South Florida and Orlando with a one-day advance purchase, according to Brightline. No promo code is required for this discount.
The midnight run comes as Brightline leans into special-event service to draw riders. The Sun Sentinel reported that more than 2.6 million passengers rode Brightline through the first nine months of 2026, up 14% over the same period in 2025. September ridership jumped 18%, and 89% of September passengers were Florida residents.
Tickets are available at GoBrightline.com and through the Brightline mobile app. Passengers should look for the Late-Night Train Icon on Oct. 25 when selecting their trip.
Aventura's ACES hosts its annual Trunk or Treat on Thursday, Oct. 29.
