Jared E. Moskowitz, a Democrat who represents Florida's 23rd Congressional District, is running for the newly drawn 25th Congressional District in the Nov. 3 general election. The district stretches along the Atlantic coast from Delray Beach to Miami Beach, covering parts of Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade counties, according to the Florida Phoenix.
Moskowitz announced his candidacy in May 2026 after redistricting reconfigured his former seat. He won the Democratic primary on Aug. 18, defeating Oliver Larkin with more than two-thirds of the vote, WLRN reported. He faces Republican Scott Singer, former mayor of Boca Raton, and Libertarian Peter Jassenoff in the general election. Cook Political Report, Inside Elections and Sabato's Crystal Ball all rate the race a toss-up, according to the Florida Phoenix.
