The first 50 students who show up to Aventura Mall's Outdoor Courtyard on Friday, Nov. 6, with a valid student ID will walk away with a free Kilian Paris fragrance.

The luxury fragrance house is hosting a launch event for its new Cocktails Collection at the mall, according to Aventura Mall's event listing. Attendees can try a signature Kilian mocktail, pick up a complimentary sample and receive a gift with purchase. The listing did not include a start time or specify a minimum purchase for the gift offer.

The Cocktails Collection includes three fragrances: Midnight Espresso, Piña Paraíso and Sparkling Royal. Midnight Espresso, created by perfumer Mathieu Nardin, features coffee and rum top notes with chocolate, hazelnut, vanilla and Siam benzoin, according to fragrance database Fragrantica.

The event lands as Aventura Mall deepens its investment in high-end beauty retail. The Miami Herald reported in July that the mall added Amouage and the first U.S. Clive Christian store in 2026, with Parfums De Marly and Initio Parfums arriving in September. Those brands joined existing tenants Creed, Jo Malone London, Aesop, Bond No. 9 and Chanel Beauty.

Jackie Soffer, chairman and CEO of mall owner Turnberry, told the Herald the mall has "seen an explosion of interest" in beauty retail.

The fragrance push tracks a broader market shift. The global luxury niche perfume market was valued at $3.8 billion in 2024 and is projected to double by 2032, according to Intel Market Research data cited by the Herald. Pinterest has labeled the consumer behavior "scent stacking," describing younger shoppers who blend multiple fragrances to build custom combinations.

Separately, fragrance house Amouage is running a pop-up space at the mall's Lower Level near Bloomingdale's through Jan. 10, 2027, according to Aventura Mall's events page. The space features the brand's signature scents and two new Exceptional Extraits.

The mall's event listing did not specify which fragrance the first 50 students would receive. Students should bring a valid ID and check the mall's website for updates on timing.
