Sunny Isles Beach gives Key to the City to Archdiocese of Miami

Sunny Isles Beach presented the Archdiocese of Miami with a Key to the City on Wednesday, Oct. 14, recognizing its contributions to the community and commitment to service.

Archbishop Thomas Wenski accepted the honor on behalf of the archdiocese, the city confirmed in an Instagram post following the ceremony.

The presentation was scheduled for 4:30 p.m. at the David P. Samson Commission Chambers, 18070 Collins Ave., according to the city’s event calendar. The public was invited to attend.
