Five performances spanning ballet, Latin music, flamenco, classical piano and an Elvis tribute will fill the Aventura Arts & Cultural Center stage from October through December.
Five-show season kicks off in October
The 330-seat waterfront venue at 3385 N.E. 188th St. announced its lineup with shows running from Oct. 4 through Dec. 19.
Ballet company opens with 29th anniversary program
Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida opens the season on Sunday, Oct. 4, with an evening of classical and contemporary works. The program, led by maestro Vladimir Issaev, features Vicente Nebrada's "Pentimento," "Spring Waters," Issaev's own "Four Seasons," the company premiere of "Raymonda Grand Pas" and the contemporary work "Corpus." The company, founded in 1997, is marking its 29th anniversary season.
Latin rhythms and flamenco follow in October
Two weeks later, Migguel headlines "Icons: Latin Rhythms," a two-night run beginning Friday, Oct. 16. The show features music by Rubén Blades and Oscar D'León alongside Migguel's original compositions.
Flamenco dancer Marta Gálvez brings "La Velada" to the stage starting Saturday, Oct. 24, for two nights. The performance draws on flamenco tradition while folding in Gálvez's own contemporary movement.
Piano duo marks 40 years in November
Dranoff 2 Piano Fusion marks its 40th anniversary on Saturday, Nov. 7, at 8 p.m. with a world premiere by Grammy-nominated composer Adam Schoenberg, according to the center's event listing. Pianists Glen Inanga and Rebeca Omordia perform alongside the Amernet String Quartet, the ensemble-in-residence at Florida International University, and guest bassist Paola Garcia. The program also highlights the legacy of Black classical composers.
Elvis tribute closes out the season
The season closes Saturday, Dec. 19. "Elvis: In Person" stars Matt Stone and The TEC Band. Recognized by Graceland and the Elvis Presley Estate, Stone portrays Presley as an actor in a theatrical production rather than as an impersonator.
Venue has drawn 375,000 guests since 2010
The center, managed by the Broward Center for the Performing Arts, has hosted more than 375,000 guests across 1,925 performances since opening in 2010, generating more than $11 million in ticket sales, according to the South Florida Sun-Times. General manager Jeff Kiltie said in September 2025, when the center launched its 15th anniversary season, that rental activity had driven much of that growth: "In the inaugural season, rentals accounted for 23% of the overall programming. In the last two seasons rentals have accounted for 50 to 60% of the overall programming."
