The world's first Bentley-branded residential tower is climbing fast on Collins Avenue, but buyers will wait longer than originally promised.
Bentley Residences Miami, the 62-story, 716-foot luxury condo tower at 18401 Collins Ave. in Sunny Isles Beach, reached its seventh floor as of June 11, with vertical construction advancing at about one floor every five to six working days, according to a PROFILEmiami report citing the developer. The project is now on track for completion in 2028, a delay from the end-of-2027 target that Dezer Development announced at the Feb. 27, 2024, groundbreaking. The developer has not publicly explained the timeline shift.
Gil Dezer, president of Dezer Development, called the construction pace a reflection of the project's momentum in a June statement.
November 2025 Foundation Pour Ranked Second-Largest in the U.S.
The tower hit a major engineering milestone in November 2025 when crews completed the largest residential mat foundation pour in Florida history. The operation ran 36 continuous hours and required 2,100 truckloads, 20,000 cubic yards of concrete, 2,400 tons of reinforcing steel and 10 concrete pumps. It ranked as the second-largest foundation pour in the U.S., according to Florida YIMBY.
Sean Murphy, co-president of general contractor Coastal Construction, called the pour "a defining milestone" that "reflects the enduring partnership between Dezer Development and Coastal Construction."
Units Start at $5.8 Million, With Sky Garages Reached by Private Car Elevator
The tower will house 216 residences ranging from 5,256 to 6,333 square feet, with available units starting at $5.8 million. Every home includes a three- or four-car sky garage accessible via the building's patented Dezervator, a car elevator that transports residents and their vehicles from street level directly into their units. A two-level penthouse on the 61st floor was listed in August 2025 at $37.5 million.
Amenities span 20,000 square feet across three levels, and four-time James Beard Award-winning chef Todd English will operate a residents-only restaurant.
Tower Is Dezer's Third Marquee Project on the Sunny Isles Beach Corridor
Dezer Development, founded in 1970 by Michael Dezer, previously built Porsche Design Tower and Residences by Armani/Casa along the same Sunny Isles Beach corridor. The firm has sold more than 2,700 units totaling more than $3.6 billion, according to the company. The Bentley Residences site formerly housed the Thunderbird Hotel, one of the mid-century motels that lined Collins Avenue before the luxury condo boom reshaped the beachfront. The tower sits minutes from Aventura Mall and Bal Harbour Shops.
Sieger Suarez Architects designed the building, with Bentley Home handling interiors. Sales are managed jointly by Dezer Platinum Realty and Douglas Elliman Development Marketing, with a gallery open at 18325 Collins Ave.
