Marcello Hernández, the Miami-raised "Saturday Night Live" cast member known for his "Protective Mom" and "Domingo" sketches, is performing two stand-up shows at Hard Rock Live in Hollywood this fall. One in Spanish. One in English. Tickets start at $53.

The venue presale opened July 14 at 10 a.m. through myhrl.com. General tickets go on sale July 15 at 10 a.m. at the same site and at marcello.live.

Hernández, 28, will take the stage at 8 p.m. Nov. 27, performing entirely in Spanish, then return Nov. 28 at 8 p.m. for an English-language set. The venue is at 1 Seminole Way, Hollywood.

A homecoming rooted in Miami-Dade

The Sun Sentinel called the tour stop "a homecoming" for the Cuban-Dominican American comedian, who grew up in Miami-Dade County, attended Belen Jesuit Preparatory School and built a local following as host of "Only In Dade," a social media show spotlighting life in South Florida. His mother, Isabel Cancela, a Cuban-born single mom, inspired the recurring "Protective Mom" sketch that helped make him a breakout star after he joined "SNL" in October 2022.

Hernández's Netflix debut special, "American Boy," premiered in January and explores his family dynamic, culture and identity. It drew 2.5 million views in its first week, according to Variety.

A busy year of hosting gigs and a new film

The Hard Rock Live dates cap a packed stretch for Hernández. He hosts the 2026 ESPY Awards live on ABC on July 15 at 8 p.m. from Lincoln Center in New York City. His next Netflix film, "72 Hours," a Kevin Hart comedy set in Miami and directed by Tim Story, releases July 24.

Time magazine named Hernández one of its 2025 Latino Leaders, and he received a Webby Award for Outstanding Comedy Performance for his work on "SNL."
