The City of Sunny Isles Beach holds its free monthly beach cleanup Saturday, July 18, from 8 to 11 a.m. at Newport Fishing Pier. No registration is required.
The city announced the event on its official social media accounts on Wednesday, July 2. Participants should bring reusable gloves; the city will supply buckets.
The July cleanup is part of the city's recurring monthly series, which has rotated locations along the oceanfront this year. The May cleanup was held at the Ellen Wynne Beach Access, and the June event took place at Samson Oceanfront Park.
