Grant Cardone's Aventura-headquartered investment firm added another 282 apartments to its growing empire, paying $89.8 million for a Naples rental community in a deal recorded Thursday, Aug. 6.
Cardone Capital acquired Orchid Run, a complex at 10991 Lost Lake Drive, from an affiliate of The Inland Real Estate Group of Companies, according to The Real Deal, which reported the transaction from a recorded deed. The price works out to $318,000 per unit.
The purchase pushes Cardone Capital's portfolio past 14,800 apartment units and more than $5.4 billion in assets under management, the firm said in a news release accompanying the deal.
Matt Mitchell and Chris Burtner of Berkadia North & Central Florida brokered the sale.
The property
Orchid Run was completed in 2015 and includes 108 one-bedroom, 126 two-bedroom and 48 three-bedroom units averaging 1,040 square feet. Amenities include a pool with cabanas, a yoga and pilates studio, a clubhouse and a car wash.
A pattern of Sun Belt buying
The Naples deal is the latest in a string of large multifamily acquisitions by the Aventura firm. In 2021, Cardone paid $744 million for four apartment properties in Fort Lauderdale, Sunrise and Weston. In 2024, the firm spent $200 million on two projects in Fort Lauderdale and Plantation. And in 2025, a bankruptcy judge approved the $235 million sale of a 366-unit Boca Raton rental complex to a partnership that included a Cardone Capital affiliate, with plans to convert the building into condos.
Cardone, a crowdfunding syndicator and social media figure with more than 10 million followers, sells minority interests in his properties to everyday investors through Regulation A and Regulation D offerings. In June 2025, responding to a reinstated class action lawsuit alleging he misled investors, Cardone told The Real Deal his firm had distributed $100 million to investors in the prior 12 months. "Cardone Capital has one of the best performance records in the industry," he said at the time.
The firm's release said Cardone Capital is actively seeking additional acquisitions across Sun Belt markets, though no specific upcoming deal or timeline was named.
