Sunny Isles Beach will unveil new names on the Veterans Wall at Heritage Park during a free Veterans Day celebration Wednesday, Nov. 11.

The city's event listing schedules the gathering from 9 to 11 a.m. at 19200 Collins Ave. The ceremony begins at 9 a.m., with light refreshments afterward.

Honoring local veterans

The wall recognizes Sunny Isles Beach residents who served in the U.S. military. The city adds names each year in observance of Veterans Day, according to its veteran nomination page. The ceremony is held at the north end of Heritage Park.

The event listing does not identify this year's honorees.

Residents can nominate a veteran who lives in the city. Required documents include proof of honorable discharge and city residency, such as a resident identification card or utility bill. The city says nominations must arrive before Sept. 1 for recognition at that year's ceremony; the 2026 deadline has passed.

Attending the ceremony

Admission is free. Registration through the event page is appreciated but not required.

Free event parking is available in the Heritage Park Garage, also at 19200 Collins Ave.
