A Miramar fashion stylist is accused of stealing six designer handbags worth nearly $272,000 from a longtime client and bringing them to an Aventura luxury buying office.

Shaquille Alexander Albert Grant, 31, was arrested Wednesday, Sept. 30, on a first-degree grand theft charge, WSVN first reported. He was booked into the Broward County Main Jail.

The six bags included five Hermès and one Chanel, according to a Miramar Police probable cause affidavit. Investigators traced them to Cashingdiamonds, a luxury buying office at 19790 W. Dixie Hwy., Suite 1205, in Aventura's ROK building.

Grant had worked as the victim's personal stylist for about seven years and was authorized to enter her home, the affidavit states. She told investigators she asked Grant to take one handbag for professional cleaning. He allegedly took all six and did not return them.

The victim reported the missing bags to Miramar Police in August 2026 after discovering them gone from her closet. Grant repeatedly promised to bring them back but did not, according to the affidavit.

Cashingdiamonds, operated by Alex Goldberg through AG Enterprises USA Corp., offers collateral loans against luxury items including Hermès handbags, according to its website. A representative of the business told investigators Grant brought the handbags there as a loan, police said.

When an officer reached Grant by phone, he acknowledged having the bags and again said he would return them, according to police. The victim told investigators she had not authorized Grant to take the six handbags and wanted to prosecute.

No statement from Cashingdiamonds or Goldberg regarding the investigation appeared in public records as of publication. No court date for Grant has been announced.
