American Idol finalist Bo Bice will join tribute band Absolute Queen for two classic rock shows at the Aventura Arts & Cultural Center on Saturday, Oct. 3.

The 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. performances will feature Queen hits like "Bohemian Rhapsody," "We Will Rock You" and "Somebody to Love," along with Journey, Def Leppard and Bon Jovi favorites, according to a South Florida Sun-Times season preview. The Aventura Arts & Cultural Center posted on X that the lineup features Absolute Queen and Absolute Journey, calling them two of Florida's premier tribute bands.

Bice finished as runner-up on Season 4 of American Idol in 2005. Since then he has been inducted into the Alabama Music Hall of Fame, fronted the group Blood Sweat & Tears and recorded "Inside Your Heaven," which peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100, according to the Broward Center's event page. He now performs with Absolute Bands, LLC, the production company behind the Oct. 3 show.

The concert is billed as "Absolute Bands Live!" Bice will sing Journey, Def Leppard and Bon Jovi material alongside Absolute Queen's set, according to the center's event listing.

It is a separate event from a solo Absolute Journey tribute show scheduled for Friday, Nov. 13 at the same venue.

The 330-seat waterfront center sits at 3385 NE 188th St. in Aventura and is managed by the Broward Center for the Performing Arts. Doors open early.

Tickets are available at aventuracenter.org, by phone at (877) 311-7469 or (954) 462-0222, or in person at the box office Wednesday through Saturday from noon to 5 p.m. and 90 minutes before each performance. Ticket prices were not listed on the venue's website as of Saturday, Sept. 26.
