Sunny Isles Beach residents can score a two-for-one deal on the city's annual Halloween festival, but the in-person-only offer expires Friday, Sept. 25.
The City of Sunny Isles Beach announced on X on Monday, Sept. 21, that residents who buy a Friday ticket for Booogie by the Beach will get Saturday free. The early bird offer must be purchased in person before the deadline.
The city did not specify where to buy tickets in person. Residents can check sibfl.gov/booogie for purchase locations and full event details.
What is Booogie by the Beach?
The two-night Halloween event has been a Sunny Isles Beach tradition at Pelican Community Park, 18115 North Bay Road, since at least 2018. Past editions have featured rides, food vendors, a haunted house and entertainment.
The city's post said the event starts next month, placing it in October. Exact 2026 dates have not been announced publicly, though the 2025 edition ran Oct. 24-25 from 7 to 10 p.m.
Wristbands and pricing
One rule has held true in past years: wristbands are not sold at the event. Colin Summers, the city's director of Cultural and Community Services, warned in the city's Fall 2025 program guide to "make sure to get your wristbands ahead of time because they won't be available at the event."
Pricing for 2026 has not been confirmed. Last year, general admission cost $50 per day, while residents with a Sunny Isles Beach Resident ID Card paid $5 per day. The haunted house was an additional $2 per person per trip.
Residents who don't already have a Resident ID Card can apply for one free at sibfl.gov/residentid. The card unlocks discounted pricing and priority registration for city programs and events.
